KCWJ and Vision Sports Wins The 2010 Missouri Broadcasters Associaton 
Large Market Play-By-Play Broadcast Excellence Award.

The Award was accepted by Tony Wrisinger of Vision Sports at the 2010 Missouri Broadcasters Association State Convention on June 5th. KCWJ General Manager, Ken Ball commented that the 2010 MBA Award continues the award winning tradition of Vision Sports and reinforces KCWJ's commitment to local Kansas City education thru continued high school sports coverage.  

The 2010 winning contest entry focused on the closing seconds of the memorable Blue Springs game-winning field goal against the Rockhurst Hawklets and was judged against similar entries from other radio stations in St. Louis and Kansas City. Judging was conducted by an independent panel of broadcasters from the New York State Broadcasters Association.
